Tamaki Regeneration Company (TRC) is working in partnership with local residents and businesses, mana whenua, local and central government agencies, local service providers and the private sector, to provide a platform for successful regeneration of Tamaki.

The NZ Government recently transferred ownership and management of approximately 2,800 Housing New Zealand properties in Tamaki to TRC to encourage 'regeneration'. TRC welcomes the Government's renewed commitment to Tamaki and plans to "move faster" and build about 7,500 new houses in Tamaki over the next 10-15 years, replacing about 2,500 existing old homes.
